Architectural Design Taking inspiration from Gold Coast architecture, Amisa bolding responds to the rapidly increasing demand for modern leisure island living. Landscape Design based on Gold Coast Theme The main aim of the landscape architectural design for Amisa is to provide appropriate settings for the three major architectural elements in the project---the residential condominium buildings, the hotel and the gaming complex. These building complexes are set amidst an environment that provides a holiday ambiance and a relaxing, stree-free, fun setting that residents and guests will want to return to often, a total escape form the blandness of urban life.
Who will design the development?
The masterplan was done by Architect Albert S. Yu of ASYA Design Partner.  Some of the projects of ASYA includes RLC's McKinley Park Residences, Otis888 Residences, The Trion Towers and Woodsville Viverde Mansions, SM's Mezza Residences, Anchor Land Holdings, Inc.'s Mayfair Towers.  ASYA Design Partner was awarded as one of the Top 10 Architectural Firms of the Philippines from the year 2004 to 2007.  Architect Yu is also one of the founding members of the Philippine Green Building Council, the organization that promotes green architecture. On the other hand, the landscape architecture will be handled by Architect Paulo Alcazaren of PGAA Creative Design.  PGAA did projects for the Banyan Tree Group in Indonesia, the Song Be Golf Resort in Vietnam, the Hainan Mandarin in Hainan China, the Royal Mulu Resort Aviary in Sarawak, the Sutera Harbor project in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and the NTUC Resort in Sentosa, Singapore.  PGAA is also responsible for Landco's Playa Calatagan. Lastly, Petra Konsult and Associates, Inc., headed by Engineer Uldarico Trawon, will handle the beach development headed by Engineer Uldarico Trawon.  Petra Konsult has done projects for Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Course and Punta Fuego.

The lure of Mactan Island in Cebu as a choice destination in the South by tourists, balikbayans, expatriates and businessmen has enticed major real estate developer Robinsons Land Corp. in a grand fashion.

AmiSa is a five-hectare beach-front property development in Punta Engaño district in Mactan. It boasts of six residential condominiums that offer breathtaking views of the beach, sea and Cebu’s coastline, a five-star hotel with amenities, a gaming center that includes a casino, two big and beautiful pools, tree-lined walks and nooks, pocket parks, and open spaces that lead to a pristine white sand beach, and of course, sports activity areas.

John L. Gokongwei, Jr. is the founder and Chairman Emeritus of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. (JGSHI). He had been Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of JGSHI until December 31, 2001. He continues to be a member of the Board of Directors of JGSHI and certain of its subsidiaries. He also continues to be a member of the Executive Committee of JGSHI and is Chairman Emeritus of certain of its subsidiaries.
He is currently the Chairman of the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, Inc. (GBFI); Deputy Chairman and Director of United Industrial Corporation, Ltd. (UIC) and Singapore Land, Ltd.
